Anything short of 100% in all three categories is unacceptable.
Having to take corrective action reduces profitability. Therefore, any non-conformity must be investigated to eliminate the root causes in order to prevent their reoccurrence. All components rejected by customer are to be treated as nonconforming product. Applying corrective action to an area, process, procedure, work instruction or activity must be seen as cyclic. Once the type of corrective action has been devised it must be resourced and deployed effectively. The effectiveness of the applied corrective action in preventing nonconforming product must be evaluated and if necessary, the whole cyclic process begun again. Only when the monitoring of this corrective action cycle reveals no likely hood of any further non-conformity can the corrective action process be completed.
